Dr. Balkrishna Padate is a renowned haematologist with extensive experience in Clinical Haematology, Haemato-Oncology, and BMT. Over the past two decades, he has held key leadership roles in prominent hospitals in India and the United Kingdom, where he has combined his clinical expertise with a compassionate approach to patient care.

He completed his Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST) at The Royal College of Pathologists in Haematology in London, UK, in 2011. He earned his FRCPath (Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists) in 2009. In 2024, he was awarded the prestigious Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians at Glasgow. He also holds an MRCP from the Royal College of Physicians, London (2006), an MD in Internal Medicine from Mumbai University (2003), and an MBBS from GSMC and KEM Hospital, Mumbai (1998).

Dr. Padate has served as the Director and Head Consultant in Clinical Haematology, Hemato-Oncology, BMT, and Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-cell (CarT) therapy at Nanavati Max Super Specialty Hospital from October 2021 to January 2025. Previously, he held similar leadership roles at P D Hinduja Hospital and MRC Mumbai from 2012 to 2021.
