Tympanometry

Tympanometry is a quick, objective test that checks middle ear function by varying air pressure in the ear canal. It measures the movement of the eardrum (tympanic membrane). It helps detect fluid buildup, eardrum perforations, or Eustachian tube dysfunction. The procedure is painless and non-invasive. Results are shown as a tympanogram curve.
