Renal Angioplasty and Stenting

Renal angioplasty is a minimally invasive procedure to treat narrowed or blocked renal arteries caused by conditions such as atherosclerosis. A catheter with a balloon is inserted into the blocked artery and inflated to widen the passage, improving blood flow to the kidneys. In most cases, a stent (a small mesh tube) is placed to keep the artery open. This procedure helps reduce high blood pressure and prevent further kidney damage.
