Dr. S. S. Praharaj is Additional Director of Neurosurgery at Fortis BG Road with over three decades of experience and more than 6,000 neurosurgical operations to his credit. He trained at AIIMS New Delhi and NIMHANS Bengaluru, has pioneered cervical laminoplasty and advanced spinal‑instrumentation techniques in India, and is an active member of neurological societies in India and Asia. He has presented and published widely and was honoured as “Neurosurgical Update for Young Neurosurgeons of Asia” in Osaka (1998).
