Dr. Shaikh is a Senior Consultant in Liver Transplant & Hepatobiliary Sciences at Fortis Mulund with over 15 years of experience. He has participated in nearly 1,000 adult and paediatric liver transplants and trained in advanced laparoscopic techniques in France. He further honed transplant skills under pioneers at University Hospital Hong Kong and Birmingham University Hospital. Instrumental in establishing transplant programs at Global Hospital Mumbai and Lilavati Hospital, he also served as Honorary Assistant Professor at Grant Medical College. His clinical interests span auxiliary and paediatric transplants, acute liver failure, NAFLD, liver tumours, cholangiocarcinoma, pancreatic disorders, NETs and SPENs.
