Dr. Sanyal completed advanced fellowships at Vancouver General Hospital and the BC Cancer Agency in all types of peripheral blood stem‑cell transplants, including autologous, related/unrelated allogeneic and cord transplants for leukemia, myeloma and lymphomas. He honed skills in pre‑ and post‑transplant conditioning and immunosuppressive management, and is also certified in lymphoma care. Beyond transplants, he manages indolent and aggressive lymphomas and is deeply involved in hematological diagnostics, research publications and continuing medical education. Known for his collaborative approach, he lectures medical students and assists colleagues in diagnosing complex blood disorders like aplastic anemia and pancytopenia.
