Gastro Intestinal surgery

Gastrointestinal surgery is a specialized branch of surgery focused on the diagnosis and treatment of diseases affecting the digestive tract, including the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, rectum, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, and bile ducts. It involves both open and minimally invasive (laparoscopic or robotic-assisted) procedures to treat conditions such as gastrointestinal cancers, hernias, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis), gallstones, and bowel obstructions.
