Endoscopic Gynecology is a specialized field of gynecology that focuses on diagnosing and treating various gynecological conditions using minimally invasive endoscopic techniques such as laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. These procedures involve using a thin, lighted tube with a camera (endoscope) to visualize and operate on the female reproductive organs, including the uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes, and pelvic structures. Laparoscopic surgery is commonly used for conditions like ovarian cysts, endometriosis, fibroids, ectopic pregnancy, and hysterectomy (removal of the uterus), while hysteroscopic procedures help diagnose and treat issues inside the uterine cavity, such as polyps, fibroids, and abnormal bleeding.
